FAQ's
When will I be able to see the photos?
Your private online gallery will be ready within 1-2 weeks after the session and will stay available for a week for you to select your photos. Once you finalize the selection, a web download link will be set up for you to download all your images within 2 days.
How long will you keep the images from a session?
All raw/edited images will be held for an additional 45 days after your session date. After 45 days, un-ordered images will be discarded and all ordered images will be archived for up to a year.
Do you use flash?
Only if the natural lighting isn't ideal. Working with natural light allows me to work more quickly and flexibly.
What is your style?
I would describe my style as colorful and joyful.
I love working with natural light and looking for creative angles to photograph people. I engage my clients by giving posing tips, asking questions, or even playing a game if kids are in the picture.
I believe in "Less Is More", so I don't generally incorporate a lot of props during the session, with the exception of posed newborn photos. Simplicity is the key.
I like providing my clients with both traditional posed pictures as well as journalistic shots that capture genuine emotions.
What if my kids don't cooperate during the session?
I always send out a short list of Get-To-Know-You questions before the session. Please take time to fill them out! I find it super important as I can be ready to engage with your kids and help them feel comfortable by focusing on what they know and familiar with. After all, I am just a total stranger and it can cause a lot of anxiety for them. And the best thing you can do during the session is to relax and give the kids some time and space to engage and interact with your photographer. On top of that, stay encouraging and positive throughout the session, and don't forget to have fun!
Can I reschedule a session due to bad weather forecast?
I usually keep a close eye on the forecast. If there is over 60% chance of rain a week before the shoot, I go ahead and notify my clients about possibly rescheduling the session. However, if my clients prefer, I am willing to wait and see until a day or two before the session to make the final call, as I understand rescheduling can be difficult for some.
