Cherry Blossom in D.C.

Early in the morning our family set out to visit D.C. to see the cherry blossom. Even though already April, it was still bone-chilling cold. Can you imagine it was just in the 70s the day before?! Despite the crazy weather, there were still plenty of tourists coming to see the famous cherry blossom. That morning, a race was also going on. Many roads were blocked but thankfully we found a good spot to park. The kids happily scooted along as my husband and I walked.

As we were walking back towards the car, we had to cut through a road where a race was happening. We now can say that we ran through a cherry blossom race in D.C.!
