Ara's First Birthday

First birthdays are always special. Putting together a party is an opportunity to share the blessing with families and friends. Baby Ara's parents did just so. They decided to host a casual and small party in a home setting. Lovely table decoration was beautifully set up and displayed by Chookha. And if you have been to one of the Korean first birthday parties, you know the highlight of the event is Doljabi. The parents will put out a variety of items and the birthday child is encouraged to grab one or two items. The choice then represents a certain future of the child with respect to his or her career or a lifestyle.
