Kids on the Farm | Frying Pan Farm Park

I got to spend a gorgeous sunny afternoon with these two. I had photographed the family a couple of times last year. This time, I suggested to a visit to the farm.

This was the first time for the family to visit the Frying Pan Farm Park in Herndon, VA and I was able to show them around to see all the cute farm animals. What can be a better way to engage the kids!

We saw pigs, sheep, goats, chicken, rabbits, roosters, hens, ducks, turkeys, peacocks, cows and horses.

The highlight for me was seeing the horses up close. It happened to be their feeding time. One of the staff was setting out the feeds for all animals. Two gorgeous horses came standing closely by the fence and eagerly waiting for their food. What a treat for us all!
